Games that should and shouldn't have made it on Apple's Best of 2009 list

sally spa was pretty lame, although canabalt was alright

but i agree minisquadron deserved to be on there

 

Hey! How come you say that? Canabalt is not very deep or complex, but it is hugely entertaining for when you jsut want to mess around and kill time, and it runs pretty dang smoothly for going so fast. And what exactly do you have against Sally's Spa? from what i hear its one of the best time management games out there, ive been wanting to pick it up myself, actually.

 

Eliminate, Paper Toss, and Sally's Spa shouldn't have been on there. I never seemed to enjoy those games.

and with most others if you dont like the genre you wont like the game

 

With all the hype, reviews and the fact that it's the closest thing to Super Mario Bro, Soosiz was a huge let down.

I still have it in on my iPhone, but stopped playing after a dozen levels.

It's well made but its just not that fun, at all.

As for Canabalt, I would consider it one of the best mini games, but not for this list.

 

I agree, about Eliminate, it should not be there. Perhaps on the greediest developer list?

Paper Toss could be among the best min games. Sally's Spa, never played.

 

I would take Eliminate and Paper Toss out of that list.
I would include: Soosiz and iBlast Moki.

Just because you personally don't enjoy a game, doesn't mean it doesn't deserve what it gets. Eliminate was a big deal, and a major first, i think it does deserve to be there.

 

well obviosly i cant beleve people are so here that they judg sum1 elses oipnion based on their own

heres another 1::: stick wars??? really??? there are better versiins of the castle fense styyle that vast;y improve upon the stik wars formula

and stick wars wesnt evn the first yano
