Ah, Savant Ascent....couldn't remember the name of that game but this made me immediately think of that. One more plus from a player and I'll dive in.
EDIT: couldn't resist any longer. Have to charge my phone for a bit n then I'll put some time in and report back.

Ok, i found TA's review with two links/developer/publisher of the same game. The first (which i bought, i guess) from Freshuu Inc. isn't available anymore in my store, but the other still is. Didn't check back if it's still in my ios history.
I'm very interested also, but my gaming time is reserved to another game atm. If nobody bites until the weekend, i will toftt. It looks gorgeous and very intriguing.

That's weird because in the US store, the Freshuu version is there but the other is not.....

Gorgeous game. Not sure how I feel about the controls. Need to spend more time with it, but having to lift up my finger all the time feels awkward at the moment.
Edit: Played a bit more and managed to complete the first area. I didn't realize the overbeam was meant for the single strong monsters, too, not just the groups of smaller ones. Gonna give the next area a go.
Edit 2: Here's the next area. Haven't beaten it yet!

Ha! I remember Savant Ascent! I dug the controls on that one! I liked it! Think I'll jump in!

Ok so resounding Hell Yeah for this game. The controls are super responsive, the graphics are gorgeous (especially in the 60 FPS mode), and the UI is also super slick. Fantastic game....this is a steal at $3

JUst got home from work. Didn't even hesitate . I watched the video and instantly bought the game.

I agree with AppUnwrapper with the point that the camera does make it feel a bit awkward as you release the joystick.
The developers must be summoned 😁

This doesn't quite look like my thing but it sure has inspired me to fire up the Firm again.

Does anyone know if this game has an endless mode?
