Hey guys my first iPad app was just approved for sale on the iPad. It's a very simple game with a nice twist. It's Checkers that you can play face to face on the device or against AI. It comes with 6 themes including a great classic theme if you just want to play regular checkers on your shiny new iPad without losing any pieces. The more exciting feature is downloadable themes on the internet. You can very easily create your own theme and post them online for others to download.. and download them yourselves! It can be used to with themes of your favorite Sci-fi or pop culture movies, it's perfect for rivalries! Coke VS Pepsi, etc. I'll be releasing new themes weekly and will also be adding a featured themes list in the app. This is also a great app for kids, I will be releasing children's themes as well. If you're interested in making any themes you can start now and they will be available on Saturday! It's also a good place to advertise your own app or product if you want to make a theme to support it. All themes have metadata including the artist and artist website. If you're interested in making themes email me at [email protected] or pm me and ill send you a sample theme file so you can see how easy it is to make them yourself. Please let me know what you think (I've noticed other Checkers and Board games please let me know if you like others better. Competition is a good thing). Id like to expand to Chess and other games as well, unfortunately I didn't have the time to include them by launch.
