While playing the card game portion, after drawing a new card it stays on the screen and I am unable to place it anywhere. It acts as if it's not even there as I can activate the cards underneath and interact with the rest of the board while it obstructs my view. If you exit out to the main menu it remains there as well. I am playing on a 4th gen Touch and have restarted my device and that has not fixed it either. You have to exit the app to fix it and so far it hasn't saved my game so you can't continue. Fix this soon please! It has a ton of potential with a nice high learning curve and I'm enjoying figuring out how gameplay works. EDIT: Ummm...yeah, this is happening more and more and it's now pretty much unplayable. I can't recommend a purchase until this is fixed. Anyone else having this issue?? Medic8er Well-Known Member May 25, 2009 80 0 0 Paramedic Midwest #14 Medic8er, Nov 4, 2010 Haha...good question. 4.1 looks like. It's really annoying though. It's happened so many times I'm quitting for now. It's a really cool game though, maybe if nobody else experiences the same problem, I'll delete and reinstall to see if that helps. Gameplay wise the card game plays a lot like Dungeon Solitaire. You draw cards that include enemies and investigators with item and events that raise or lower defenses/sanity and when you place an enemy across from an investigator there's a short battle. Beautiful artwork and interface, just hope this bug is fixed soon. transcend11 Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2008 62 0 0 #15 transcend11, Nov 4, 2010 Last edited: Nov 4, 2010 I'm getting this error as well, on iPhone 4, v4.1. A quick restart fixes the issue, but it popped up about 3 times in a half hour gaming session. But on to my impressions... Very fun game, I'm impressed. I love a good learning curve, and after taking about 10 minutes reading through the in-game tutorial, I was ready to jump in and give it a try. The first stage of the game is the card battle, which operates similar to Dungeon Solitaire. You draw a card and it's either an investigator/ally, monster, item, or 'other.' Investigators/allies always go on the bottom portion of the card row (your row) Monsters always go on the top card row (enemies) Items, such as weapons, are attached to your investigators to add a damage die. These can be placed on the row before there is an investigator to use it. The 'other' category are different events, potions, etc. that alter your characters stats (defense and sanity). You can also use these on the enemies, sometimes improving their stats and adding difficulty, but also making them worth more points. A battle plays out when there is a monster face to face with an investigator. If your investigator's defense and sanity BOTH beat the monster's values, it is an automatic win. If there is a tie or only one beats the monster's, you each roll a die. This is where your investigator's inherent damage die is used as well as the bonus die for whatever weapon you've attached. THE ART IS AMAZING. I have to throw this out there. As a huge fan of the Lovecraft mythos, and of the Arkham Horror board game and Call of Cthulhu LCG, I am very, very happy with the card art. There are some truly creepy portraits of all of the monsters. This is amazing, original work, and I enjoyed staring at every card. If you are interested in the Cthulhu mythos in the least bit, or just love card battle/strategy games, this is one you should not pass up. Thanks for such a great game, glad to see it finally released! One suggestion for the developers: Once you attach a weapon to an investigator, you never see any indication of what bonus die was given to them in addition to their default die. For example, an ally with an inherent 1d6 damage is given a rifle that is +1d10. When you go into battle, you get a value above 6 showing there is an additional die being rolled, but that is the only indication. Can you add the weapon's stats to the ally's info? The same could be said when it's stats are altered, such as "(Passed Sacred Lore check, gained +2 sanity)" etc., but I see the weapon as a priority. I wish I could be of more help right now, but I have no understanding of why it's doing that. I haven't encountered that bug so far, but I guess these things tend to creep out when many people start playing across different devices. But we'll definitely get it fixed and updated as soon as we figure out the problem. Sorry for any inconvenience.
