This game actually seem to be inspired by dojo of death which is a flash game that was pretty popular on pc.

This game is well worth a download (or the $0.99 when the sale finishes). I don't know if Dojo of Death is coming to IOS, but Dark Slash is a worthy substitute. The pixel art is really well done and it's a great twitch combat game. You die in one hit and must dodge enemy attacks; tap or swipe the screen to perform a devastating slash and build combos. It's fun, fast, and challenging.

I think that Only One is much better if you are looking for this type of game.

Beside the visual style, you can't really compare the two. The two games are really not that similar. Only One is hack n slash arena action with upgrades and powers. This is a twitchy reflex game where you die in one hit and has a focus of evasion and positioning.

Ya, I suppose that "this type of game" was the wrong phrase to use.

Found this game to be pretty awesome. Quick arcade fun. I've only made it to Wave 3 or 4. There's a combo system which lets you score faster the more enemies you kill at once...but you take the risk of having too many enemies around. If you time the attack wrong and the position of your attack wrong, a stray enemy may accidentally kill you.

I didn't bother with the revives as this makes the game more challenging for me so that aspect doesn't bother me. I really should try this on the ipad mini as my finger won't obscure the screen as much.

Overall, a pretty fun game that I enjoy in short spurts.

Brilliant little game that sits on top of my "toilet" folder atm.
Nice update too, thanks.
