When the app is released for iPhone, will there be any character wipes afterwards?

yesterday community of player voted for no characters wipe so there will no wipe at all.

This is beta but we treat it as normal game where you level, fight bosses and have a lot of fun doing it.

I want to play your game upon launch, but there should be a character wipe. People know what a Beta is for. All the great games wipe from Beta to Launch. I know none of my characters in WoW, WAR, AoC, DAoC, SWG or any other games made it to launch. You have to reroll.

Community in vote decided to not wipe therefore there will be no wipe.

Beta players have it harder than players after beta since we are constantly adding more content every day, so they are rewarded with no reset.

That still makes no sense. The reward for Beta Testers, and I am one, should be that they got to see the game early and know where to level and how to play.

We plan to submit to apple for approval this month, probably toward the end of it. There will be no wipe.

Bad move. You should be smarter for your game. Players don't want a wipe because they are being selfish. That doesn't coincide with what is best for the game or for your company. Congrats.

This is not smart.. . Iam in the betatest too. But this is just a bad move, done because of running out of money. understandable but sad.

Have u ever though of the impact it will have on lets say pvp early on?
A group of people getting such an advantage. Not wiping alpha/beta just because community is imho just ridiculous.

Varking, youre right. Of course people voted for "no", because they all already have a leveled character in the beta.

I said it many times before, that you shouldt let the players vote on such important decisions.
