Worms: (How do you play?)

Basically, you are a worm and you try to kill the other worms. I think it's pretty self-explanatory.

Not to be an ass or anything, but how can a gamer not know what Worms is? Or at least have an idea...

Ive never played a Worms game in my life and im pretty hardcore about my gaming.. >_>

 

There are many other games like Worms, such as Scorched Earth, Pocket Tanks, etc.

 

bazooka is NOT the weapon to begin with... the wind & direction, the power comes into picture..

Begin with a shotgun, Uzi or grenade

I still Love worms & is my Best $5 spent, though I am missing a few awesome possum weapons, I am living with wht I got!

 

Hi Lovestospoon, so far as I remember Worms on iPhone isn't exactly very accessible for newcomers to the series, so don't feel bad about these guys taking a pop at you.

Basically the aim of the game is to take out the rival armies and be last worm standing. You've got a selection of weapons at your disposal- not just the default bazooka (touch the icon on the bottom left to bring up a list). If you're confused about anything else, go to help & options on the main menu and you'll find a how to play guide for the game. Enjoy!

 

I'm pretty a tutorial or instructions were included in the game. Read them!

 

Did they ever add global wifi multiplayer to the game? I totally forgot about this game, but if it does have online multiplayer I might put it on my "to buy" list.

If not I will stick with Space Hogs.

 

The controls are pretty terrible anyway, so the game isn't worth getting.

When the game was first released, the controls were absolutely terrible, along with many other aspects of it (it didn't zoom in far enough, the whole experience was laggy and slow, etc...). Thankfully, since then they've released updates that have made the experience FAR more enjoyable. It's one of my favorite apps.

However, I slightly prefer Star Hogs because it does everything Worms does, plus more (although it may seem a little more complicated with the added upgrade system to learn and the less cartoony graphics). Until Worms gets Internet multiplayer, at least, I'd say go with Star Hogs.

LOL is this for real? How long did it take for you to overcome the learning curve of the device itself?

On another note; worms is still the best app around IMO needs online multiplayer though

 

am not into the wi-fi thingy U see
