Hi, I think there's a couple of games that could really use a multiplayer! I don't know if starting a thread will change anything, but it's worth a shot! Games where multiplayer would be awesome: 1. Jet Car Stunts 2. Doodle jump 3. Canabalt 4. minigore (next update will have co-op) 5. SpeedForge 6. MC: Sandstorm (already multiplayer, but co-op would be nice) That's it! Happy new year! (Okay i've remade the list, removing some of the games that woldn't be good with MP)
ataloss STFU. @Topic: Honestly, some of these games can't have MP. But it's a pretty good suggestion for SpeedForge.
It would be possible. Imagine a little bubble on the top or under your screen (depends where your friend's doodler or Canabalt guy is. ) if he's under or above (or further and behind) you.
It was something like that i was thinking, or maybe make to different (or more) colors of either doodlers or canabalt runners, then you'd be able to recognize your own character? I don't know if it's possible.. Anyway that's not my job just giving with feedback. @Cronical which of the games can't have MP?
You wouldn't like to play MC: sandstorm co-op? i think it's perfect for a co-op. maybe not ravensword, that might not work very well..
co-op would be really cool in Ravensword, especially for taking down larger beasts. I'm not sure how 'easy' it is to put in though.
I think first they should focus on implementing more RPG stuff in the game, it's great, but i gotta say it needs RPG elements.
oh yeah multiplayer is not first priority in fact I think thats the last thing in Russ's head right now to put in. I just think it would be cool to have a co-op mode - it would probably have to be wifi though. We're kind of figuring out 'the world' of Ravensword 2 right now - so we've got a ways to go.
Well, just saw you're the dev well, there you got some feedback! i think it would be cool with some skills, spells, whatever that you could purchase every level, instead of some spell at lvl 50 , or maybe some other cool stuff you figure out! Right now it's very much tap on monster, tap a couple of billion times at attack button, and win! but don't get me wrong, i think it's entertaining, spent more hours than on many other games, and the graphics are lovely! i also like the thing about amor and so on.. but there's always place for improvement, but you know that
I'm pretty sure multiplayer is harder than just typing a couple lines of code and setting up a server.
Why should they, they've clearly stated it's an openworld adventure not a rpg. Go implement more rpg elements yourself, god.
Depends on what type of multiplayer you mean. Apple provides the basic infrastructure for LAN and bluetooth, no server needed. WAN is an entirely different animal. Zero support from Apple, maintaining the servers, tonnes of code, etc.
I just want some WORKING multiplayer on the game I bought - Modern Combat. Right now the multiplayer on Modern Combat is about as useful as tits on a boar hog.
i would also like to see lab 2 maybe with a co-op or something where the balls can interact on the same screen, like bump into each other
