I'm actually really liking this game. It is pretty slow, but that's why I like it. May i ask, how do you get a supergarden?

Make a 2x2 square of same symbol AND shape pieces.

Symbolism / Alchemy?

It actually reminds me of the old Mac game Alchemy, which was later ported (then abandoned) as the iOS game Symbolism. The idea was to convert every square of the board to gold by matching tiles in complete rows or columns, based on either symbol or color. This new game looks slightly different, like the point isn't to cover the entire board.

This is quite a cool game. Its kind of hard to figure out at first, but once you get playing it starts to make sense. I like it.

this is a very nice game once you get the hang of it. I almost went into a trance just placing pieces after pieces. Yea pacing is a little slow, I could imagine it might be more challenging if the board was much smaller

That's the name I couldn't remember, Symbolism!

Definitely a lot like that or the current Passages 4 but with the twist of more colors and shapes are added every level and you can make points by clearing lines or by making 2x2 garden patches that double as wildcard pieces.

Hoping they add a few IAPs, mostly things like different backing tracks or something; not so fond of the 'watch ads, get bombs' method, though it's nicer than being forced to buy things.

Does seem like the developers gave too much and asked too little, as much as I appreciate it, it'd be nice to have something to buy to help support them. It's a really great title, and as I said earlier, though it's not exactly the same as Lumines, I feel the similarities are there, in a way.

Plus it gets really trancey when you get in the zone.

After asking, turns out that the name of the company is not, in fact, inspired by the show Doug, and its made-up band, the Beets' song, 'Killer Tofu'.

It's actually inspired by the Doctor Who theme.

Currently playing: ALL THE THINGS.

I am a fan of paid games with expansion/gameplay-adding/cosmetic DLC and freemium games with one-off in-app purchases.
