iPhone Shadowrun Returns - (by Harebrained Schemes LLC)

hi. sorry if this has been asked before... but does the PC version have a lot more? i read a review somewhere that the ipad version only had 10% of the original PC version.

 

That review would be wrong... This is pretty much the PC version minus the currently available DLC and user mods. I own both the PC and this version btw...

 

Since people are usually talking about the bugs and crashes, it's a little hard finding game specific questions. The PC version has a console you can use to modify stats and stuff, does the ios version have a in-game cheat system? Or maybe is there a way of transferring the PC save to ios?

 

No such cheat on iOS. Not sure about a workaround to get a PC save in there. Might be able to with ifunbox or some other program. I hadn't tried.
In relation to crashes, iPad 4 latest os, no crashes on a play through beginning to end. New save system is great on the go. Old one was fine. New one is better.

 

Still no Dragonfall DLC available for iOS...booooooooooring!!!

 

Finally got to playing this, and holy carp is it good. Using an rMini, and no crashes, save anytime works well, and the storyline is really interesting. Well done.

 

Just a little update from the Harebrained Dragonfall FAQ:

Q: Is the Dragonfall Director’s Cut coming to tablet?

A: A tablet version of the Director’s Cut is also in the works! We’re shooting for an October release on iOS and Android.

I would rather see the UMC being added. Even a "best of" compilation would be welcome.

 

Any expectation of character import into that other content or is it safe to delete?

Really loved the game.

 

No character import. There wasn't on PC.
There certainly won't be on iOS.

Was tempted to see if I could buy at the 2.99 sale price in the hopes it goes universal or I get an ipad

 

I hope the expansion is only delayed not scrapped.
