About the Game We've been working hard these last few months to adapt Battle Dungeon in to a challenging single player game. If you've not heard about the original game, you can read about it on Touch Arcade by clicking here. To do this we've integrated our AI code in to the game and developed a complete single player campaign. Along with all new maps and enemies, so don't be surprised if you see a skeleton or two wandering our new and improved dungeons. We've also gone over all our levels with some new tools that should give it much more vibrant and realistic lighting. In addition to this, each mission now includes a 3 star challenge rating and we've implemented Game Center leaderboards and achievements. The new game features improved graphics, gameplay and an improved tutorial. As well as this we will be be offering at a lower price ($1.99) and have removed the premium currency (IAP's) so all items can now be obtained with the gold you gain in-game. We're in the final stages of testing our campaign and hope to have it available on the App Store by the end of March. Bring it on! This means; thanks to the developer for removing the IAP, adding new characters, and focusing on single player instead of letting this rot.
It's incredible how much of an impact lighting has on the overall look of a game. In this case, the difference to me is night and day. Looking forward to this.
We've just submitted Battle Dungeon: Risen to Apple! We'll let you know once it is available on the App Store!
Yeah! Congratulations on the submission; looking forward to Battle Dungeons: Risen official release. I got my hands on a beta build of Risen and It's a lot of fun; people here won't be disappointed. Diverse challenging levels with lots of customization options. The previous version was 143mb before install; I assume Risen will be similar.
Battle Dungeon is back in the App Store as Battle Dungeon: Risen. It's 170 yen which I guess is $1.99. I would get it except I paid 450 yen for the first one and never got a refund after it was pulled. And yes, I went through all the proper channels to get a refund but it never came. So I'm not going to pat twice for whats is essentially the same game.
the new lighting engine works neat! what tools have you been using? pls share some development experiences too
I've been playing and it Rocks guys. I'd pay five times for this ... Not your fault pirates ate up your server ... Keep cranking out the awesome work!
