I bought this game a while back and just started playing it. I must say I'm pretty disappointed. I haven't played but for like 15 minutes, it seems like a button masher to me. I keep doing the same 3 move combo over and over and dodging enemy attacks.

Is this what I should expect for the rest of the game? If so I may just give it the wiggling X.

Wow! Thanks. I just wanted to find out if the rest of the game is more of the same.

It's all button mashing. Looks pretty, but no strategy.

I find button mashers enjoyable, I especially enjoyed HoS when it first came out. I put a lot of hours into it, and if you actually memorize the combos you can do some pretty cool stuff.

Overall though, +1 to LBG's post.

This game was released 2 months after the Appstore first opened, so what did you expect?

HoS is one of my favorite games for the iPhone. The fact that it was one of the earliest games is a testament to just how good this game is/was. I think it still holds up. Cant wait for HoS 2. Think that game will be great when it is eventually released. Im sure its in the cards.

It's about as close to an iphone classic as you're gonna get. Still, for two bucks it's still a pretty good deal.

Yup, all the levels are pretty much the same combat, bosses are a little different but same simple button mashing:touch tracing mechanics.

well u arent OP but to expect your 6.99 app from .. god knows how long ago you purchased it to be anything like Avatar is just dumb.
