I got to the end of 1-3 and died fighting the boss, so I have no idea what happens beyond that. The game allows move one at a time or all units at once. Oh, or even a selection. You'll spend most if the game in the same formation just charging enemies, however that tactic didn't work on the boss, so it will probably require somoe tactics. Anyway, no story and mostly only using the charge tactic makes this a very dull game soon. Goodluck to those who kept playing, I hope it gets a bit more exciting with new enemies.
true it has no story... but past 1-3 there are a lot of high hp monsters, mages, healers, ranged enemies and such... so just charging won't work... you'll need to scatter units and re arrange or else they will die quickly... and reviving isn't exactly cheap

i haven't run into problems as of now... but will keep playing tnoight while a work to see if i find anything

Default Fun stuff!

This is a fun game to play through. It provides quite the challenge even on the normal difficulty. There are no instructions, so I wasted a good bit of time before realizing you can hire any enemy. Needed an axe man to beat the boss at 4-9. Keep Arthur out of range of him when his shield is up, as it returns damage to you (he can kill himself in one hit). I am a bit concerned as I am over half way through the game and still haven't unlocked the two shops. Any idea what it takes to unlock those? Also any suggestion for the Bombs that appear right on top of your units in 5-2.
I'm playing Arthur, 3 healers, 1 axe man, and 15 archers. Untouchable for the most part.

Default In addition

You do need to grind a bit to avoid constantly losing units. Try playing through lower levels and retreating at the harder levels. I found that on my phone, I can hold the forward button and hit the lock button on my phone, and when I resume play, my troops will automatically advance through the entire level. You can stop this by hitting the forward arrow again. Very helpful for exp and gold grinding.
