I am a huge fan of rpg like zelda links awakening and zenonia , which is similar.

I also like great story for a 2D rpg. Which one has the best , and has decent gameplay too.

Other question: is there anything like pokemon? (not iMob:) )

If you thought the story in the Zenonia series was good, you've got a lot to check out as far iOS RPGs goes. You should start with Chaos Rings, Crimson Gem Saga, Across Age DX, or Ash if you're looking for quality RPGs with a great storyline.

Agreed, but I would add Inotia 3 and, of course, the Final Fantasy and Secret of Mana ports, as well as Phantasy Star 2. If you like SRPGs, check out Shinning Force and War of Eustrath -- both are very much story-driven. If you are looking for a 3D Zelda-like, check out Sacred Odyssey, perhaps the best game Gameloft has ever made.

You mean that Crystal Monsters game? It got terrible reviews, not even worth a dollar. I'm sure Gameloft could do better now, but they're probably not interested.

I repeat you can use an emulator. It works great, there is also an app I am beta-testing called Pocketmon. Should be out in a few months.

I'm sure idevices can handle games like FF7. Just a matter of UI.

As for your question for best story. My favorite for ios is chaos rings.

I think the one should be Chaos Rings. It presents an epic tale consisting of four different scenarios, all with gorgeous sound and unbelievably smooth 3D graphics. It has a deep story with unique twists for every pair and multiple endings. The story, and characters found within Chaos Rings are the most interesting and intriguing I have come across for the iPhone.
