Hopefully this happens, as it would introduce a much larger player-base. Apparently there are some big updates on the way soon, but the devs are pretty tight-lipped about what they are working on.

Got this today but so far I still much prefer Vainglory, the queue times on this are bad

Honestly, I suspect that the MOBA market on IOS simply is too niche to support more than one of these games at a time and the "new thing" is generally going to dominate. These types of games simply require too much constant development time to be supported by a smaller player-base, and if queue times are too slow people will eventually just stop trying. It is a shame, as FF is a much more cleverly designed game in terms of taking advantage of the IOS medium, with more innovative controls and a cleaner interface. However, VG's marketing was significantly superior, as shown by the simple fact that many people don't even realize that there were MOBA titles on IOS before VG.

Kirenx is spot on with that assessment. The playerbase on iOS for Moba, even at its greatest, will still be essentially niche.
One hope for any mobile MOBA is that hardcore PC gamers play this as their "on the go" MOBA fix. But MOBA as a genre requires investment of time. It probably doesn't work as a casual game.

Comments by VG devs on IGN seem to indicate to me that they're considering porting to PC (and Android). PC is where the hardcore gamers remain, atleast for now.

Of course adding pc would be beneficial nut I'd maybe feel like they would have an advantage. As for game waiting I feel it's because VG went universal.
