I might be able to put portrait play back in. The original version (WSC2010) played portrait and most people found it too cramped and uncomfortable. But it could go in as an option in a future update. Also looking at playing with the pitch going left to right as that's been requested too.

Other news :- New game reveal coming soon, and community team editor for SSC is still in the works and should be ready soon. Will allow people to submit data for additional leagues and divisions.

Wow. Options to play portrait/landscape and left to right/up and down pitch play would be amazing! Both of those might end up rendering all other footy games on my devices kinda useless!

Anyway, appreciate the open ear and great constant development. A great sign of a great developer.

Hoping to get a new update in tonight, pending a fix for the remaining freeze issue.

Sorry it's not been fixed sooner, hope it's not inconvenienced too many. It does seem to effect some players more than others, so if you've suffered it regularly, please let us know if there's any information which might help us track it down!

V2.2 of SSC2013 is just about done. Should be submitting after one final test phase. It will include:-


Some AI tweaks.
Player Manager finances rewards tweaked and Player Energy level effect more pronounced.
Fixed rare freeze bug that left games needing to be quit (or the app force closed)
Fixed Shoot-out not ending bug.


Due to an unforeseen issue with Replays and Penalty Shootouts, Horizontal play camera mode will not make it in, but will be in v2.3
