Thanks for that Vovin, quite enlightening. Still, 30M copies is pretty impressive. scape211 Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2012 318 3 18 Graphic Designer #6 scape211, Jul 1, 2015 Im just happy they are doing this because they hit the main market and got the numbers they should. Plenty of good games come out that have to bring down their price early just to stay in the market. This is a really great game and I'm glad they have made some solid numbers from it. Now if Apple could just fix the bluetooth mifi controller issues, id finish playing through it.... orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 1,997 145 63 #7 orangecan, Jul 1, 2015 What issues are there with Mifi support please? Is it a game you keep on your ipad, or play and then drop? $5 and 1.2 GB is a lot of real estate, and I would like some impressions if it is worth it long term, lr if I should just go play Bayonetta 2 again. Warriv Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Feb 21, 2015 244 11 18 Portugal #10 Warriv, Jul 1, 2015 Can't say about replay value since I was bored of it before I could reach the end, and eventually erased the game from my ipad because it's about 2gbs when installed. There were some challenges you could meet on each level (which are so mind-numbingly similar), and you have two difficulties you can choose for each as well. Maybe read a review, I don't know, but I guess if you enjoy it, there's plenty of reason to replay levels. It might seem I hated the game, but I didn't, it just didn't make me want to finish it. I still believe it's worth the buy, though, especially at this price range. amusing Grace Well-Known Member Dec 23, 2008 1,682 7 38 Music, Muse, Magick Berlin, Germany #11 amusing Grace, Jul 1, 2015 If i remember correctly the devs are working on some kind of endless mode, too. The changes in the revenue model relate to subscription based purchases in apps, specifically in the television/film area along the lines of Netflix/HBO Go/ etc. HBO GO got a 15% deal in order to bring them to the platform. Similar services are negotiating the same deal basically. Any of the current available information doesn't relate to non subscription iap's or to upfront single price point entry apps, it's purely in the subscription area. Music is another area where varying revenue deals have been made but that doesn't mean any changes are on the cards across the board and its very unlikely that Apple will change the percentages in play for general apps with no subscriptions, the business structure just wouldn't apply to that kind of model and wouldn't be beneficial to them even considering the cost to them of hosting the apps on servers in the first place whereas subscription services offer a greater benefit on a month by month basis for essentially the same costs as hosting a single standalone app. And on the topic of this game itself, it's an absolute steal at the price. Well worth it at its original price and even more worth it now. Just everybody download it. This type of game, this type of pricing structure absolutely needs support. They've done well so far, they absolutely deserve to do even more. Plus it helps that it is extremely entertaining. A few seem to have mentioned repetition but personally I found it to be very entertaining up to the end and it will played and replayed again and again and enjoyed just as much each time.
