Yes, they already announced it over Twitter or in their facebook that they are making an exclusive Final Fantasy title for the iDevices. I also remember that pocketgamer.uk or IGN wrote something about it. I guess they'll show the first pictures or video teasers at the E3. Or maybe its a Dragon Quest game? Just think about it while keeping in mind that the Director for FF or DQ said this.
well i thought that was just a rumor and never been confirmed anyway is dragon quest a good rpg? off topic... i hope the next Golden Sun will be ported to the iDevice
Do you have links or anything? Let's just hope it's a 'proper' Final Fantasy and not 'Final Fantasy VII: Midgar Puzzle Defenders' or something. Hell, it might even be FF Agito XIII. I've never played DQ myself (okay, I played the first one very briefly when I was little and had no idea what was going on), but it's phenomenally popular in Japan, probably the most popular over there. Also, chances for the next Golden Sun are probably very slim since it's on the DS and...well, Nintendo.
I don't care either of which one it is, but I hope we have more of an open world to explore regardless of whatever it is. Don't want to only have a few areas that we need to explore multiple times to finish the story. Choas Rings was great but it just didn't have that open world feeling and it was really missing that imo.
I agree -- that would be nice change. I was thinking more about the overall level of quality: good writing, great graphics and animation, interesting combat system, etc.
