Forgotten Memories for $0.99 is astounding. If you're a fan of the Resident Evil series, and don't mind limited saves, you owe it to yourself to grab it. Note that it's 1.3 GB installed.
I have only $5 to spend on the App Store until 11/20 so I'm still on the fence. I like RE1-3 and SH1... I'll probably buy it. Have to decide because it is a 24 hours sale. By the way, I didn't like Lost Within.
Ahh, right, Pocket Gamer says the price will go up a $1 a day until it gets back to its normal $5.99 price. I think the game was pretty hyped for the graphics - they are in fact impressive, particularly on newer iDevices - which probably contributed to the save game criticism. I just started, and am getting seriously creeped out - a good thing indeed. Apparently there are folks that speedrun the game just like RER and RER2, so there is re-playability for those appropriately inclined. WRT LW, some in the FM thread said it lacked tension due to the availability of too many saves.
