Really liking this game a lot! I was worried at first about the IAP, but it hasn't been an issue so far. I'm at the third board so far, and I love the natural progression of the levels. They are thought out very well to allow for a challenge that isn't too over the top. Hitman Go knows how to walk that fine line of fun and difficult. There were a few levels that had me stumped for awhile trying to 3 star them, but it never became an issue where I wanted to throw my phone out the window.

The thing is, sometimes I'm not able to complete some of the goals, and I can't figure out why. I'm not really looking for someone to give me the solutions. I want to be able to learn the techniques to find the solutions on my own.
i also want to love this game, but i can't. i love the graphics and the presentation but i really just can't get over the fact it's just a puzzle. this is a case of "it's not you , it's me." where this type of game isn't my cup of tea.

i think i was hoping more for a turn-based tactical game. if you love it, more power to you! the graphics and presentation won't fail!

I played it for some hours now.
I enjoy the game so far. The game mechanics is nice. It is not mind-boggling, but it offers some variety and interesting concepts. The graphic style is interesting. It revels in its "artsyness" somewhat, because it has a mixture of nice detail and sterility. On the one hand there is not much going on and everything is extremely clean, on the other hand little additions that are purely visual are quite nice. For me it serves the purpose when all is said.

I have finished half of the game and to me the price tag is too high actually. I don't regret the fact I bought it, but in retrospect I should have waited probably.

My major problem is the fact that it doesn't feel like a Hitman game to me personally. Two reasons for that: There are no objectives that you can deal with in almost any way you can imagine. You have to play each level twice, once to finish it within a certain range of moves and another time to get a certain object or kill any guard.
And the killing of the guards is the second thing.
When it doesn't like a Hitman game due to the lack of real creativity involved to finish (since it is only figuring out the movement pattern), it should not force me to kill guards.

Do I like the game then?
As as a standalone, yes. It is a fun game. As a Hitman game though? A little bit at least.

From a Hitman series fan, loving the game. Yes it doesn't have the "action" portion, but the gameplay is basically the same, strategic movement planning. Thought I wouldn't like it, but thanks to TA community, loving it!

Default Game Impressions

Not being familiar with the Hitman series, I came into this game with no preconceptions, and it's really delivering for me. Love the art style, love the playfulness (arias as you assassinate!) and the difficulty seems pitched just right.

Puzzle fans should be all over this one -- it's fantastic.

Cheers.

Not at all what i expected but after playing it I have to say I really like it. After the first 2 levels i was thinking it was ok but after getting through the next few levels i found myself loving all aspects of the game. Its a classic trial & error stealth game. I have gotten used to the minimalist approach & find the game fascinating. You have to sit back & watch the movements to gain insight & finally make your moves. Very cool game.

While i hate the use of "3 stars" in games i really like what they did here. You can go back & get the missing one by itself & thus gain another "star" or achievement and not jeopardize the two you already have. That really helps you get the numbers you need to open the next game box.

The puzzles are great. Frustrating at times but that helps make this a great game. I have to remind myself to slow down & think. When I do I fall more & more for this gem

Why oh why did i pass by this game previously !

Bought this last night and played it a lot, its a great game, love the 'boardgame' type graphics. Very impressive. Really enjoying it, i'll buy the extra game packs for sure when i reach that point.

The game looks amazing and plays well for a puzzle style game. Very impressive.

You may have got far enough to realise this already, but the extra game pack is free as long as you've completed enough previous levels. I finally got far enough to play the new levels after redownloading and playing through the game again and it was well worth it. The new gameplay elements and enemies are great.
