ok, as an owner of an 8gb itouch, i can only fit so many high mb games on my ipod, especially with games like NFS, NOVA, etc. Which ones should I delete? NFS Shift - only finished ~20% (I have Real Racing too) Warpgate GTA - ok pointless question NBA live BIA2 Necromancer Rising I have a lot more but they're all under 50 mb.
Acutally today I just deleted some apps for the same reason as you =p I deleted games that I completed already cause I don't like replaying game's stories again lol If you finished Warpgate then you can delete that (what I did)
I recently beat and finished NOVA, and am working my way through BIA2, Zombie Infection, and Rayman2 quickly to free up some space again. A rule of thumb for me is I never keep games installed if they are over once you beat the single player campaign - unless they offer good replay value - for instance I always have GTA, The Quest, and Zenonia installed.
finishing all the main quests, after that it just gets repetitive. delete whichever game you know your not gonna go back to for a while
Having only a 8g also I'm finding it a problem. I actually made a thread in regards to this when the iPad games became available. (no offense to iPad games/players) Some games almost doubled in size for me and watched my bar jump (bottom of iTunes/device page) dramatically. To answer a somewhat obvious question, I'd keep the favs of the moment and delete anything else.
Synch your ipod's games to itunes and delete from there. That way you can keep your games and just have them elsewhere. Frees up space.
Why not just delete all of them? Seriously, you know best what genre you enjoy most, what game you love most, so why ask us??? And I thought people asking 'which game should I buy' are silly.. Please don't take this personally,I just don't understand why ask for others' opinion when you know the answer best.
Yea.......that's what I'm thinking. But will I be having the same issues not too far into the future as my 8g, I'm wondering? My 8g is only a couple years old and already a storage issue and game mb's are not getting any smaller. Apologizes for not keeping within the op's thread but needed to comment.
Do you really think you'll have 8 times the number of games on your ipod now ever? I am in the exact same position as you but I'll wait for the fourth generation to come out before I upgrade.
heh I feel your pain man, 500+ paid apps now with a ipod containing 7gb external memory. It's a bitch; I mean I can't even put songs on it.. If you don't like GTA, pick that one, it actually takes up nearly 700mb when unzipped. can't wait for the 4g to be out..
I don't know or play a game before I own it, I haven't figured out that trick. It's nice to hear other peoples opinions or reviews before making a decision, as opposed to jumping in blind.
