25 games in it , some of them have above average quality , some not , and they will add more game inside . The question is , if it 's the trends of the development on appstore , what can we do ? By the way ,I think it just like a trade dumping from China , as a Chinese developer , I don 't feel happy or proud of it . The appstore that I like is creative ,health and competitive .
There have been a number of threads on this title - it's a good value for a buck, but it really is a pile of mediocre games (it just so happens to be a large, growing pile of mediocre games... )
Well, it's been up in the charts for a while now, and I've seen a handful of really crappy "gamebox" apps, but it doesn't seem to be radically changing anything. Laughed out loud at this, but I may be thinking of a different definition of "beating it"
There have only been 2 collections worth bothering with: All in One Gamebox 3 in 1 Tower Defense Just about everything else is pointless. Since the general result of such products is a focus on quantity over quality, there will ALWAYS be room for quality titles. Gamebox didn't displace Assassin's Creed 2, nor will it ever manage to do so. I'd be surprised if it managed to displace even one 99 cent game that isn't included in the bundle. In the end, these titles are more a curiosity than serious competition. They represent a unique convergence of opportunities that make these packages possible. The high barriers to entry ensure that there will never be much in the way of serious multi-game packages.
Yes I have heard of something called A.D.D. on the appstore (Addictive Dumb Reactions? Not Sure) which has ~90 microgames, Like Warioware, But I haven't tried it Anyone wanna toftt?
People are talking about bad games in a bundle. But what if people come out with a bundle of quality games in a bundle. Revolutionary concept isn't it?
Unfortunately that is the problem with all-in-one games/apps they tend to put everything in without thinking much about the quality and functionality of things they put.
Too bad Apple pulled all the smutty apps.... Oh, wait - did I say that out loud? I meant THIS GAME, honest!
