It's similar to runners I guess but there are several games where u hit an object and watch it fly a distance. Upgrade , continue, upgrade, Ect.
If u happen to know what I'm talking about please let me know.
I can't find the genre or any of the games any longer.
If u happen to know of any please let me know thank u

The one that had me hooked for a while was A Doodle Fly: Mission to Mars.

IIRC there was a good one that had a character (possibly a Viking) with wings strapped to his arms.

Oh and from what I've seen, Ridiculous Fishing is basically the same kind of game at heart - though it's heavily disguised.

One of the first games with these mechanics was the old flash game, Nanaca Crash.

Adventure Time: Jumping Finn is another on iOS.

Fly Kiwi, Fly was one of the first games I finished on my iPhone. Great fun. Also finished Giant Boulder, which is more of a roller but same principle.

Coz they're probably iphone only. There should be an option to show iphone apps when you search for apps on your ipad.

I was reminded of Miniglider which fits in the genre as well, coz of the Triniti sale today.
