Hey all! Thanks for all of your feedback, we're putting a massive amount of effort into the third game in the Real Racing series to make sure it is our best ever. We couldn't do this without the help of our friends at EA and Iron Monkey, now that we're combined into the one studio expect to see much higher quality work. Special thanks to Eli for sharing the news here on Touch Arcade - we love you guys ...I really need to update my username/profile pic here.
Looks amazing, and i'm excited to be able to race more then 7 opponents. Firemint did a great job on the first two, so they probably took the lead on this (hopefully), and EA has done a good job with their racing games at least on the console, so hopefully they found the right combination to make this work. I kinda see this as EA's take 2 on their NFS Shift series for iOS.
I am actually really happy with the fact that EA bought Firemint, if it wasn't for that then RR3 wouldn't have Porsche's.
free to play or premium paid app? (please don't be FTP, please don't be FTP, please don't be FTP)....
and what about weather effects ? licensed tracks are great and cars, too. But imo weather effects are the only rise for a new game!
Dang in one way or another, this is still EA. game looks good though, but i'm not keeping my hopes up since it's EA. On the other hand, Dead Space for iOS (also EA IIRC) was good. Will be watching this
I knew that Well then, now I'm a slight bit worried. My biggest gripe with EA is their use of origin...stupid.
Hey, I was just wondering if you guys decided to make this game universal, or two separate apps like you guys have done in the past.
Firemint: Say it's not freemium and it is without iaps, please Will there be another game modes than in RR2? For example drag and drift would be cool. Don't make the same mistake as in RR2 (Only one top car [McLaren F1], second one [Vette] would not overtake it on any track)
Well if I had to bet, i'd say that the game is not going to be freemium but will contain iaps. That seems logical for now. I just hope they won't be needed at all.
My biggest worry is EA forcing huge origin login windows at us after everything we do, I really don't want that on my devices and hopefully gamecenter is still supported for those people who want it, myself included. I can't see how this game will not have any IAP, there will be one somewhere and I fear for that too :/
