I agree that it sucks that Kairosoft games represent that vast majority of worthy sims to play. But the Kairosoft games I've played have been a lot of fun. If they sucked, than that's one thing.

If they don't add to their formula, than they will suffer.

It's whateve though, I don't care enough to stick up for Kairosoft.

Townsmen (premium version) is a very solid, no timer BS, real time village econ building sim I lost a lot of hours to. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, it has very, very optional freemium-esque elements in that you can buy prestige to purchase stuff in the game without actually producing it, but if you're doing that, you're simming wrong
