Touch Arcade forums Game of the Year: 2015 Nominations Starting December 21, 2015 and ending December 28, 2015 Participants may nominate up to 10 titles for game of the year; multiple nominations are cool but games nominated should be those that are viewed as THE best game this year or close contenders - not a top 10 count but only your best of the best. If someone nominates more than 10 games or posts nominations twice then only the first 10 will be counted. Nominations will close after December 27, 2015 and the top contenders will be used in a poll for final voting. The voting time frame will be from December 28, 2015 January 4, 2016 with the highest vote count winning. Developers should not nominate or vote for their own games; recruiting outside votes is also uncool please do not vote for your own game or ask Twitter/Facebook/etc to register just to vote. However, no votes/nominations will be disqualified. 2014 Game of the Year Poll: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=249263 Credit to Crex for originating Touch Arcade forums Game of the Year

Wow what an AMAZING year of gaming on this all encompassing little iDevice! Will be back to this spot with my noms. Thanks for this thread...
Participants are discouraged from nominating games before all releases of the year have made it in. If you need to make a change to your nominations it's preferred that you edit your original post and not make a second post. Open to feedback on rules/wording in original post and timeframes...
Ugh. I don't think I can decide on just 10 games! This is gonna be so though. There were so many good games this year. All I can say is that WE ARE ALL WINNERS this year! Lol
Pretty much. What i have been doing since the start of the year was create my own growing list, so i have a smaller list to filter through.
Let's get the ball rolling then: HoPiKo Prune Her Story Edit: just noticed that you didn't want noms yet. I'll definitely review my list before the end of the voting period, and I've got a couple if spare slots in case something does blow me away between now and the end of the year. Edit2: Added Rust Bucket as a late contender. Edit3: Decided to prune my list. The other games on my list were games I would consider voting for if these don't make the poll, but not at the same level as these three.
It's probably got be something like don't starve, or one of these premium ones. Downwell was amazing in its pure innovation but hate to say the mobile version came second to the PC version. Not sure about don't starve, only ever played PC version. It'll be exciting who wins!
I got a ton of play out of roller coaster tycoon 3. Although it's a remake so idk haha. I had a lot of fun lately with tiny rogue. Was a huge fan of Knights of pen and paper 2 as well. Roller coaster tycoon 3 Tiny Rogue Knights of pen and paper 2
Particle Mace Alto's Adventure Blokshot Revolution Galactic Nemesis Sword Of Xolan Pac-Man 256 Incurve Sector 1 Land Sliders Super Sharp Domino Drop
Will edit this when I have time to properly pore through everything I've played, but for now I'll add a stop-gap top list from looking at metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/year/ios/filtered). I can already tell there'll be far too many ports. Heroes & Castles 2 Transistor Her Story Five Minutes Before Horizon Chase Downwell Land Sliders Space Marshals Hitman: Sniper Beneath the Lighthouse
Here are my noms for 2015: 1.Cut the Rope:Magic. 2.Lara Croft Go. 3.Beneath the Lighthouse. 4.Inch by Inch. 5.Tilt:Quill's Quandary. 6.Gunbrick. 7.Cobe the Gallery. 8.Super Sharp. 9.Agent Auzzle in disguise. 10.Badland 2. I played 200 games this year out of the more than 100.000 that are released every year, and out of that 200 there are 50 good ones and 10 top games, so can you imagine what a load of crap there is on the Appstore unbelievable. These are all puzzle and puzzle action games my fave genre, a great year for puzzle fans, on to 2016. Happy New Year everybody.

Downwell - Absolute blast in every way, simple to play, but a deep convo system and high skill ceiling makes it set a new bar for me in terms of scrolling action games Grimrock - haven't played that much, mostly because I already know that something of such high quality will suck up too much of my time This War of Mine - I game about war that puts real emotional value on a civilian life Geometry Wars 3 - Addictive, gorgeous, but lacks real change compared to previous titles Horizon Chase - Beautiful Retro Racer, I've lost many a race because I was just staring at the background Implosion - AAA game, great quality and gameplay all around Pac Man CEDX - loved it on PC, pleasantly surprised when it came on iOS, really fun game Altos Adventure - unoriginal, but incredible presentation and fun and simple scroller GOTY will be Downwell imo.
