My iCade classic and iPad 3 combo works with both appstore MAME versions without a hitch on iOS 6.1

Sadly iMAME doesn't work properly either. You can try going into the Options and out to get iCade working but it's a bit flakey.
There's some big changes (or new bugs) in iOS 6 with event notifications causing all this. I've got iMAME4all working (a bit hacky) with iCade but rotation notifications aren't even working which needs more work. |

I think the iMAME4ALL rotation bug was there from the start, but the need to access help or options and go back out again was introduced in a more recent iOS update, perhaps a late 5x build. |

Hi all. Long time lurker, first time poster (iPad w/5.1.1 & iPod 4G w/6.0.1 user).
Here's a question about MAME4iOS that's been confusing me for a while: does "local multiplayer" mean four people can use Wiimotes to play through the same (single) iDevice, or does it mean up to four people on four different iDevices (all running the same ver. of MAME4iOS) can connect via Bluetooth and play? I could have swore I read somewhere this MAME could do the latter, which isn't too much of a stretch of the imagination, as more and more games are including Bluetooth linking nowadays. Thanks. Hi Seleuco,
thanks for updating good old iMame4all too. It's so much faster for my old machines! After Cydia automatically updated my iPhone 3G (iOs 4.2.1) to iMame4all 1.11, it crashed at startup. Manually going back to an older version worked for me. On the iPad 1 (iOs 5.1.1), everything works great. Thanks.... Bern |
