Really, there is a huge gap in the match-3 market for other types of matching, and you will appeal to men and women gamers alike, hardcore and casual, if you can come up with a slick-looking match game that doesn't look like a million others out there. Go to the App Store and search for "match-3". You will see there is no more need for what you are currently trying to do. You need to stand out. Good luck!
