The most powerful ship in the game, the Goliath, still costs 1,000,000 doubloons, just like before the update. I also did a race, and received 2,500 doubloons, which was par for the course for that region. It seems they only added the cash IAPs, nothing more, which is surprising. I know I got this game for free when it was Apple's Free App of the Week (and all I ever bought was the Supreme Pack when it was $2 as a thank you to the devs), but this must be a real insult to those who paid $5 for this app. bhavukjain1 Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2013 451 0 0 #6 bhavukjain1, Sep 4, 2014 Until and unless it doesn't hamper anyone's gameplay with the in-apps, the game's cool. No matter if you paid $5 or not. sinagog Well-Known Member Aug 15, 2014 937 0 0 #7 sinagog, Sep 4, 2014 This is no Sid Meir's Pirates, but it's very fun to just sandbox around the seven seas with actual sea shanties playing in the background. I do feel sorry for the poor whales, though. The thing which everyone hated on release- magical dodging boats- actually stops becoming so silly later on in the game when other mechanics, like fast/slow enemy cannon shots, swipeable ordnance, and all manner of personalised upgrades, come into play. Still not sure I'll hit that update button... sinagog Well-Known Member Aug 15, 2014 937 0 0 #8 sinagog, Sep 4, 2014 Woah, I said that so it must be true! But what if I only said that as a test?
