The $1.99 Version has been discounted to $.99. In the paid version you get 499 Hars which is worth $5 of IAP!!! (Alot of forum members in the official EpicHearts TA thread said that the paid version was worth it because they could buy an extra bag that gave them 18 more slots since there were so many items being dropped!!)
actually the reason this game is not offered in a few select countries because there are companies that own the right to that specific territory. It's called Publishing...
I' not a cheapskate, but I don't buy iaps unless they are game expansions (for example, Zen, Pinball/Pinball Arcade tables, Playdeck expansions, etc.) or a tip to the devs for really great, free games (that includes cosmetic upgrades in lieu of a tip jar). Examples: Solomon's Keep. Gold Ship for Beat Hazard Ultra since I got the game free. Period. End of story. I don't spend real currency on funny money. In this case, 99 cents buys you fake money. The price could be a penny, if Apple allowed it, and I wouldn't do it.
Mind the smiley. There were times when I didn't need to put an "just kidding" behind everything. But funny how people jump at such things. In the end, you haven't understood what I was saying. Not even a single word.
I understood completely Vovin, and I apologize if it seemed as if I was calling you out. I wasn't even responding to you, just using your post as a jumping point. But really, I was just grumpy this morning for some reason. We cool brah?
For those who dont have it yet, this is one of the best KRPGs on the iOS so get it for a buck. Well you can play the free full version, but for a buck you get $5 worth of IAP stuff, and you get to support the dev for a great game.
Downloaded! Thanks for the sale. Have you guys seen the new Zenonia 5 trailer? By appearances Epic Hearts puts it to shame. I was sold at "... from the developers of Secret Of Chateau De Moreau..." (well, that's not in the promo but still SCdM rules).
Gamevil is miking a dead cow for it's last curdles. Gamevil's gone downhill simce they added that green border and their game icons.
'f cours. Oh, no offense intended, just a mild shaking of the head from my side... I wasn't also directed just at you, more general speaking.
Epic Hearts was pretty popular in Korea and Japan and became #1 in both countries so it's hard to compare to another game but you can compare it to other similar games in the KRPG genre but there haven't been many complaints here about the game on TA besides the text and minor control issues
That's very true it isn't often that you get a RPG of this caliber on iOS, most are cookie cutter clones of each other. I was impressed to find a game with this much depth without the Square/Enix name attached to it . I got it at the regular price, so at $.99 it's a steal of a deal
I'd say Crimsonheart's edge over this is the 360-degree controls, but I have to say everything else is on par, but i'll have to give it to EpicHearts on the visuals which i think is sharper than that of CH. I'd say get them both if you dont have it... Both titles are a treat to yourself for being an iOS gamer.
The dev can thank you and Vovin for making them a sale. Buying now. (First purchase on my new iPhone 5!)
