Playdek?

Have they gone? No email or twitter replies. Website gone dark?

Very sad that there's no 64bit update for their great titles especially Lords of Waterdeep

They ran into serious problems over that Kickstarter they did for Unsung Story. Either there's no one left to regularly handle PR or they're deliberately hiding from disappointed backers. I leave it to you to decide.

A serious shame if our worst fears are actually realised.

I said it way back when they started that campaign for unsung Story that I wish they hadn't. Totally out of their line and unnecessary. They produced quality board game to digital adaptations and should absolutely have stuck to a winning formula rather than bogging down all resources on some pie in the sky wish to produce some optimistic RPG.

Anyway, here's hoping they re-emerge.

They probably went dark to avoid any further backlash from the backers. Think it's been 5 months since their last post on kickstarter and any other social media.

I actually found this forum from searching to get my game kickstarter out there. I know most people are sick to their stomach of kickstarters after this whole Playdek scandal. I'm hoping to change peoples minds and give them hope with my take on a tactical rpg game like Final Fantasy Tactics.

It's called "Celestial Arms" I'll post a link to the kickstarter down below. I placed a few images and songs on there so people can get a feel for how close of a game it will be to Final Fantasy Tactics. We will have it so you can solo if that is your thing. You could play with or against friends too since it'll be Co-Op and multiplayer. Hope you all enjoy the map style Image I put up for people to see the similarity.
