      As most of you know, Apple is releasing the new 4.0 update this summer, and along with it comes the New Game Center. This thread's purpose is to discuss usernames, what you want to see in the Game Center, and any other discussion. This thread will probably lose popularity until the update comes out, but feel free to discuss whatever you like. This was also made to prevent future unwanted threads on the same topic. HAVE FUN!

      Game Center could use some more features like chat, and a bunch of other stuff Openfient or Plus+ have.

      So, Is apple going to make it mandoatory? Or it optional like all the current services.

      The match making is nice! I think we could see more games with online multi player as a result of this

      As long as Apple doesn't restrict this game I am in for an Xbox Liveish experience

      I signed up. Username: iTodd. There's not much to do in the app yet. If someone else has 4.0, try to add me as a friend. I don't know if it even works.

      I don't know if I'll get to keep the username or not either... It does say "sandbox" at the top of the screen.

      Unless there are other features in it that Apple hasn't shared yet, I think it's a sucky idea. Plus+ and OpenFeint will always be around... it's not like Apple is going to be able to consolidate every single game into Game Center. Game Center is just one more social platform added on the stack.
