The conduit HD is officially coming to ios soon, it's already out on android so be ready to see this drop ! Being ported over by war drum studios, same ppl who ported the GTA games. Game was awesome on the wii, looking forward to it http://wardrumstudios.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=80:conduit
Great news! The original game was one of the best FPSs on the wii. Well, not that that's saying much.
Fantastic news! I remember readig up on it when it first launched and was sad that I didn't have a Wii to play it on. Glad it's being ported over! i.n.s.t.a.b.u.y.
I was pretty excited for this until I thought back on what made the Wii version such a blast: the motion controls and the multiplayer. Neither of which is in this version. : (
I fail to see why this thread has barely 2 pages in it. This is the first console FPS to be ported to iOS to my knowledge, moreover it's supposed to be a very fine SP experience.
It was actually a strong game. Not as good as say, Halo 3, but a lot better than the shovelware Medal of Honor games. It was also a very high budget title with damn impressive graphics.
That's very harsh. I'll grant the multiplayer was the high point of the Wii release, but there's no way it was mediocre and most certainly not low budget. The Wii version has a 69% meta critic rating and an 8.2 user rating. While certainly not five star ratings, it definitely was the best option for the Wii user and will definitely be a very good addition to iOS. In fact it'll probably be one of the stand out titles for iOS because the Android version is certainly well worth the download at its price point (free for first two levels and $4.99 for full unlock of rest of the levels). It has a high rating on Google play also with an average of 4.1 out of 5 in which with 680 reviews, 411 are five star reviews.
The original Conduit might be good for Wii and iOS standards, but it just felt average compared to the big FPSes at the time IMO (Halo, CoD, Metroid Prime 3, even Medal of Honor Heroes 2). I didn't enjoy it at all. I'm sure it'll be well-received on the iOS though.
