Please excuse my long post. A week ago I accomplished something that I had worked towards for about 8 months. I finished the froggydex. A week later some of you may wonder why I am still on the thread. At this time I would like to explain. I played this game by myself for a while and enjoyed it but then I realized I had missed the Tribus and Glacio. I did a search on the web and found this site. My first post was to introduce myself and ask if someone could please send me the two missing frogs. Within minutes I had the frogs and became an activity member of the thread (thank you qwerty and PC). Though my primary purpose of playing the game was to finish the froggydex, I found some great friends on this thread. They were VERY helpful in my quest and I will never forget them. Three were famous for sending reward frogs within minutes of posting one. One is still very activity on the thread but I have turned her to the dex side (thank you LIZ), the other still plays the game but no longer post (thank you Mochuelin) and the other has left the game (thank you Kim). I promised myself if I ever finished the dex that I would repay their kindness to others. Though most of the original people have now left the thread and new ones have joined, I have found that the kindness and generosity continues.
I will. It's basically an exploration of the 7 preview outcome anomaly that was described in post #8253 which you pointed us to. Frog arrived basically instantaneously as usual. Thank you very much.

Yea,I love experimenting around too. I actually just got a glass serpentis out of a wild caught frog (well, pond gifted, but wild caught sounds better) along with one I already have.

Frankly, your continued presence in this thread has amazed me as has your inordinate generosity & selfless "Pay it Forward" attitude. I would have thought that you & others would leave after you reached your goal. And, yes, others DO join this thread & contribute from Day 1, like Giroth & Nirtew. Still, the loss of "regulars" is something I do indeed fear because for me it's as much the community & camaraderie (probably more) as the trading. You will leave. Some day. It's inevitable & understandable. That would not make your reasons any less valid or our sense of loss of an active PF citizen any less keen. Just hope it won't be soon. We all hope it won't be soon. That what looked like the prologue of a potential Swan Song was really a frog song. p.s.: STEP AWAY FROM the shovel, saw, & hatchet!!! The Rapture is over anyway.
What timezone are you referring to by 8:00 when the contest is over? I might submit one, but the 4 habs full of eggs (serpentis, stellata, africanus, and adamantis, and maybe a few others) probably won't hatch in time and out of what I have, only one, maybe two, could be considered for the beauty contest.
Central Daylight time. The midwest, which is in about 20 minutes. In about 25 minutes I will be in the hot tub, which is greatly needed after my fight with the tree stump
Yea, I'm in Pacific time zone, which is why I was asking. Even if I found a bunch of potions in the next five minutes, it still wouldn't be enough time to make a proper submission. Out of what I have, the violet picea serpentis is the only one I would really consider for a beauty contest, that or maybe the blue aurum serpentis. Even then, I'm not ready to get rid of either of those just yet.
