Haven't tried it, but since it's $1.99 by definition it can't be freemium.

But from the look of the screenshots look like some freemium game with In-App currency and its the same developer as Peter the Rabbit (Freemium).

it does look like a dual currency freemium type model...

but my kids ABSOLUTELY LOVE anything to do with the whole Wonderland world - gonna have to pick this one up for em... =oP
