OMG, no, there isnn't IAP. You can switch when you want between the two characters when you start a level. You buy all weapons and ability with the tooth of demon

one thing that bothers me, are there any ability to run and dodge?

There is an ability to jump and evade.

the 1 thing i don't like from what little gameplay video footage i've seen is the demons/monsters slow/lumbering movement speed, i hope they pick up speed as you progress.
