Where Mahjong meets coins! I'm excited to introduce you to a new and addictive mobile game! Think of Mahjong, but instead of tiles, the pieces you play with are a range of realistic coins from different eras and from all around the world. The game is addictive as hell and its free! Meet Coin Match! The concept of this puzzler is brilliantly simple - just find and match pairs of coins. The goal is to clear the level or collect a certain amount of specific coins. Its quite easy to master the core gameplay and get started. The challenge and real fun comes with the gradual introduction of levels with limited moves where players enjoy solving the puzzles one move at a time. The coins overlap each other and only the coins that are not blocked by other ones can be selected and paired. This requires real tactics and strategies for solving the levels. And of course, every coin has a flip side! The game currently features 57 unique realistic historical coins, from Ancient Greek Tertatrachmas to contemporary Yens with 77 puzzle levels organised into 5 chapters: Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Britain, Spain and Asia. The first three chapters are free, while the latter two are premium. Each chapter features a Collection where all coins discovered by the player through the game can be reviewed and learned about. Quite good to play as well. Could be more challenging if there were an option to remove the coin-flip feature, making it necessary to learn the obverse and reverse imprints. Grandika Member Dec 22, 2017 8 0 0 #3 Grandika, Jan 14, 2018 Thank you for the review, Stronsay! I was concerned that the game may be too difficult for many people if the coins don't flip. Did you manage to find the collection of coins, accessible from the map? It contains all the coins you've found, some people miss it. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 950 205 43 #4 Stronsay, Jan 14, 2018 I found the coin collection thanks. Its a good feature to have. Would probably help to have a label or icon for the coin collection rather than just the unmarked arrow. Difficulty level seems about right, but I would also like to see an optional higher difficulty. I have just started on Ancient Rome. I already wrote one Grandika Member Dec 22, 2017 8 0 0 #10 Grandika, Jan 17, 2018 Optional levels and varying difficulty? Hi, I'm thinking on making some changes in the next version and really want to hear what people think about this idea. All levels are now sequential - you need to complete all levels in the chapter to start the next one. Some people have a challenge with this. What i want to change is to make only certain numbers of levels necessary to opener the next chapter (say 8 out of 14), leaving the other levels optional to complete. What do you think? Do you really want to see more coins or have a gameplay challenge? Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #11 Asp, Jan 17, 2018 Not easy to answer as I like to see both! Ive been enjoying the gameplay challenge with some cities taking many attempts to complete. However, having been stuck at Constantinople for the past 2 days without success I would now like to move somewhere else to collect more coins and return here later. Grandika Member Dec 22, 2017 8 0 0 #12 Grandika, Jan 17, 2018 Makes sense, thank you! If you are stuck, there are additional moves and if you run out if the free ones, you can buy more and I'll refund you the purchase. I'm thinking of the next chapters to be Auatralian, Russian and US coins. Which ones should I do first? Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #13 Asp, Jan 17, 2018 Im thinking Russian coins will have the most history and shall be interested to learn about them, including when they were first produced.
