Machinarium will be coming to iPhone/iPod Touch next week.

    Launch price of £1.49 / $1.99, then will go up to 1.99 / $2.99
(iPad version will become universal and get all the perks of the Pocket Edition)

"Pinch-to-zoom will be employed in this iPhone version so that you can hunt through Amanita Design's hand-drawn backdrops for handy items and hotspots."

I personally never got to play this game, mainly because I don't have an iPad and I didn't want it enough to get it on Steam. This release is awesome news for me. Great week so far!

Currently it is iPad only, and doesn't include the updated features (pinch to zoom, retina graphics, improved visuals, GameCenter, and iCloud). These will also be added to the current version which will be made universal.

    I have never played it.

    I searched for it..

    "Absolutely Fantastic" - TouchArcade
    "It's Phenomenal" - AppAdvice
    4/4 - USA TODAY
    4/4 - SlideToPlay
    9/10 - Pocket Gamer

users: "this game is a masterpiece" ... etc etc

    Ok, fine, I will BUY IT ! :) :D

The current version only supports iPad 2 and up. This usually equates to iPhone4 and up or iPod Touch 5 and up, so you might be out of luck :(

"At the same time, the iPad version will be updated with pinch-to-zoom, first-gen iPad support, Retina display visuals, Game Center achievements, and iCloud save. The iPad version will also be transformed into a Universal app so you can play it on your iPhone."

so after the update it should support ipad 1 and therefore at least be playable on ipod touch 4th gen. at least i hope so otherwise i wont be able to play it.

Trick question of the day. I had an iPad but sold it a few months ago due to never using it because I always used my iPhone. I bought Machinarium for my iPad. Anyway to get that universal version on my iPhone? Or do you think it'll recognize that I've previously purchased it and be a free download?

Regardless, this game is awesome. Really hard. Don't cheat when you play it. You'll ruin all the fun, fairly challenging puzzles!!!
