    Sorry about that. My stupid little brother wanted to post the 1000th thread reply...

    :(

    Edit: Aaaaaand now he's bouncing around the house yelling "My junk is jacked, my junk is jacked"...

    Did you video the event? To blackmail him when he gets a girlfriend? ;)

    I vaguely remember reading something like that somewhere, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't a product of wishful thinking. So thanks for the confirmation.

    This game is surprisingly fun. I do tend to backup regulary, but due to crashes I have lost some cool stuff. Oh well, I am sure over time I will find it all again and then some. I wonder if the crashes are (all) due to the game itself though. Since I have updated to 5.0.1 I even have Safari crashing at random times.

    Thanks for making such a great game!

    Nice. But I can never be bothered to go to loads of different game forums that's why I come here.

    I tend to agree. But I'm also trawling the Pixbits site. (not to be confused with trolling!)

    Which I also do.

    I was digging very deep and hadn't set up my ladders yet. I died. Is there any way to get to the bottom of the shaft I dug without killing myself or spending like 20 minutes redigging?

    Did you make a column? You can build a parallel one and add some dirt blocks in between to make stairs.

    0 x x
    x 0 x
    x x 0
    x 0 x
    0 x x
    x 0 x

    Something like that to get down. Cloth also breaks your fall but you have to be able to reach where to put it for it to work.

    Actually what I do is

    OOX
    XOO
    OOX
    XOO

    etc

    O = hole, X = block.

    Then you swipe-jump upwards to any height.

    I tried that - I kept falling to my doom. Up was fine, going back down was a problem for me!

    Well if you're digging down while you do it, place a cloth block at the very bottom of the shaft. The added bonus is that you're safe from any falling damage.

    Right, I've been editing the wiki too... Pixbits, if the wiki's yours I need you to ban someone. Spam's really annoying...

    1 Raw wool -> 2 yarn.
    1 yarn -> 1 wool block.

    Of course, you'll need the loom and the spinning wheel.

    What! You can avoid falling damage with a cloth block? Why didn't I already know this. Thanks for the tip.

    Falling on cloth will prevent any damage,so you can throw some down and jump in.

    Really need to start carrying cloth blocks. I've been killed twice by creeps, I have lost count of how many times I've died being an idiot and falling down some shaft *I* dug :eek:

    Of course this would still be dependent on me remembering to place the cloth blocks where I've left giant holes to fall in.

    Err... After a few hours, I finally met the dreadful "lost inventory" bug.
    Needless to say that I'm not too fond of that kind of bug. :mad:

    What bothers me is that I lost all my craft recipes and that the boxes where I found them have disappeared.

    So, what now ?:(
