The first one is cool (I'm not far into it yet) but I was hoping these games were more RPGish. Has anyone fully explored this series?

Definitely. I'd pay $20 and still think it's worth it.

The whole premise is your a captian and you wake up in another dimension. The story continues and you find yourself as basically a mercenary.

You fly around in any of the dozens of ships available, and complete missions, trade goods, blast and raid ships, mine rocks, all in a completely open universe.

The RPG elements come in with equipment, which you buy at various planets. You do side missions and trade goods to be able to afford the next best weapon or ship, allowing even greater profits and rewards.

The story is laughable at times, but the gameplay and graphics more than make up for it.

I give on the whole goty debate, but I don't think anyone can argue that this game shouldn't be in any must have list. It doesn't do anything new, but what it does, it does extremely well. It's what I wanted warpgate to be when I heard about it.

    Absolutely.

Hands down, my favorite iOS game. I can't recall spending as much time (19hrs so far) with any other game.

It's worth $9, but sadly it costs $10.

    (sorry... just being a jerk.)
