I tried this and it's a very awesome game. 5 stars for me!
I wonder why it's not getting the right audience.... too many games around? |

I guess so, but it's also about the perverse mechanism of the Appstore itself.
If your app is not ranked app doesn't sell, if the app doesn't sell, it will be never ranked. Something must change. I guess. But also paid user reviews, paid (fake) twitter followers, no more (almost) genuine reviews (until 2009 you could still find some reviewers doing the job just for filling the magazine, now is all just paid. This kind of politic is the same of this world. Despiting what's the American dream (illusion) may look. If you have money, you can do more money. If you don't have, you will stay poor. That's the mere truth. But yes, also the presence of TONS of freemium games is not helping at all. We don't like freemium. As a player I personally hate freemium (a pay per play system which was earlier introduced by facebook/zynga). I want to buy the whole thing. And play it all. Don't like to getting it free, to have to spend hundred of bucks to unlock stuff. Is ok to unlock expansions and levels, but the pay per click thing (like smurfs or other titles did) is simply boring, dangerous for children, well for dad's pockets, and yes. Is pretty much converting games is slot machines. This will change. |
