The first game went free a few months later and went free a few times more after, has a lot of IAP, and plus its a Chillingo release. I was waiting for this one to go free, I knew I didn't have to wait very long. Sadly this is what the AppStore has come down to. ramon31 Well-Known Member Sep 4, 2011 843 0 16 Hortacultrist Australia #4 ramon31, May 9, 2013 This is ridiculous, I was about to buy this about an hour ago. Very expected. All Chillingo games go free after one month. But cool, wanted to try this cause I liked the first game. ninjackid Well-Known Member May 27, 2010 9,380 2 38 #11 ninjackid, May 9, 2013 Whoa! Not expected! That said, yeah... hard to pretend I didn't see this coming, and based on the pattern established over the past year or so, right on time... let's all hope it doesn't end up IAP-nerfed. Must admit I didn't spot any massive difference in iap to the first one tho Connector Well-Known Member May 6, 2012 15,512 1 0 In the Chatroom http://thechatroom.freeforums.net/ #15 Connector, May 9, 2013 Well, Chillingo is getting quite a bad reputation with updates. They mainly do them to make them freemium converts and add tons of inapps like $100 boats or cars. Also, if you get even luckier, as they did with Catch the Ark, they will screw up the freemium and you will lose all your coins and inapp consumables and boats. Then they will ignore all your emails and pms, and not do anything. It's too bad, most companies that I have had this problem of losing all coins and consumable inapps usually gave you a promo code, some free coins, or at least said sorry in an email. Chillingo? Nada And they never give early adopter bonuses like many companies do. Many people complained about Dead Trigger, but man, Madfinger gave HUGE early adopter bonuses such as lots of coins, awesome alien gun, and cool updates. Chillingo nada. So sad... Hmmm... Let's hope not. Fear any update that Chillingo adds, it will more than likely end up IAP-nerfed as you mentioned.
