To find out what is going on, a monkey is sent into space. This is the beginning of a series of events that will determine mankind’s future. The goal of the game is to guide your space pod to the landing site on the other side of the level. With only two buttons to work with, it is a simple concept that’s easy to pick up, but hard to master. The Story Mode contains 50 levels, divided across 7 worlds. If you succeed in finishing this mode, you unlock the Master levels, which is a collection of very challenging levels for you to try out. The comic story, in between the levels, consists of a total of 188 screens, which is two comic books worth of images. The story is co-written and drawn by the studio that’s responsible for the Oscar nominated animation films The Triplets of Belleville and The Secret of Kells. Screens are colored by Raymund Lee, famous for his work on Marvel’s Wolverine series. Information Seller:Monkube Ltd. We tried to compress everything as much as possible, but if you want a big game, with lots of content and hours of gameplay, you're gonna have to give up some MB We're looking into this for our new games (new compression techniques and stuff), but our games will always have lots of content. You can see some stuff of our upcoming game on our Facebook page. And while you're there, share the '6th Planet update' post Prodigy_BE Well-Known Member Jun 3, 2010 89 1 0 #11 Prodigy_BE, Jul 10, 2011 Just out of curiosity, what is the max filesize you're ok with? CygnetSeven Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 7,585 30 48 #12 CygnetSeven, Jul 10, 2011 Well, first let me say the reason I mentioned it was because I love the game. I bought this several weeks ago and although the comics and video are highly polished, for me I would rather have just the game (which I adore). I find the game to be more of a pick up and play type, when I have a half hour to blow and I want to replay a level, that kind of thing. So many of those types hover around the 35mb range, but I understand thats not possible. My iphone is a 32g and I'm usually using about 29g. I try not to carry very many apps over 75mb, and I try to limit that to five or less. If you made two versions, one with the polish and one strictly the game, I would want to own both, and would buy the second version. I see that like comparing the two versions of Blade Runner, both were awesome and appealed to different audiences for different reasons. I understand it's probably frustrating to put out such a beautiful piece of work only to hear people complain about the size of the app. Please understand in this forum the majority of those come from people that are attracted to your work. It's easy for me to say, hey, it's a compliment but I know it gets old hearing it. So to (finallly) answer your question, 75mb would be much easier to swallow carrying around and leaving on my phone (until this fall when I get my iphone 5). Thanks for asking and for hearing me out. Think of it this way, you're getting a "lite" version for free, if you like it enough to stick with it, you're tossing a couple bucks to the devs to let them know you like it, if not, no biggie. For me, I found the game boring (sorry), but it is absolutely gorgeous. I completed the game without them. The story's not bad... the comic styled scenes look great, the graphics are nice, and the physics are fantastic. If you like lander styled games, this is definitely one of the (if not the) best available. ** This is one of very few iOS games that I've played through more than once. =oP (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
