Okay I could be totally mistaken about this Anyway the big releases this week like Badlands and Other Brothers are released on the 4th. Next week, Gemini Rue (port of popular sci-fi noir adventure game) and others are releasing on the 11th. Those days are Thursday. But unless I misunderstood something, Wednesday is the usual release day for high profile games. If I recall correctly, TA's Coming Tonight is posted on Wednesday. Has this release pattern changed? Or is it only for these two weeks?
US, New York/East coast. Usually games are released around 10:30-11:00pm on Wednesdays (for me at least) so these release dates are kind of confusing.
It's always been like that. Nothing's changed. On the other hand, it seems like international App Stores have had changes recently. Take Lebanon for example; while games used to hit the moment they came out in the States, they now come out around 8 or 9 pm (Lebanese time) on Wednesdays...roughly 10 hours before the States.
You and I are in the same time zone. Technically a game realeases at midnight. Usually you're able to find it at 11:00 though. No, 11:00 is not technically Thursday, but whatever. That's when it comes out. "Coming tonight" = 11:00. Otherwise it would be Coming Tomorrow I would imagine lol
