What are some of the games that somehow have got overlooked but are "diamonds in the rough"? For every Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja, there is a fun one out there that is just begging for attention.
...jk. Just got Semi-Automatic. Pretty good unique game where you control this machine, but it's the way you controll it with levers and plugs and stuff that make it fun...kinda makes it like you were in the console controlling it. And it's universal to boot.
Ant Raid (iPad only for now). It is such a great casual strategy game that should appeal to a very broad audience. I'm surprised that it doesn't get much more love.
There is a current Apple feature called "best games you never played". Look It up, some great ones there, including ours, Geospin
I checked out various games listed by TAers above: so far, I've bought Silverfish [Max] and Semi-Automatic, so thanks and keep 'em coming. ADVICE Since this thread started in the iPad section, but was moved to General Discussion, maybe appending iPhone/iPad/Universal to your tips might be helpful. E.G., I was about to buy "Pixel Ninja!" as recommended, but noticed at the last minute it was iPhone-only. It works both ways, sparing iPhone/Touch-users the bother of searching for iPad-only games.
Thanks for all the replies. Its nice to see these other games getting some love from people. I know a game I created, Immix (iPad only), seemed to get lost in the Christmas shuffle last year.
