Apparently, among the hundreds of mobile games announced at TGS 2014, this one managed to fly under the radars: Namco Bandai has revealed that Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle, a F2P mobile game based on the ever popular Dragon Ball franchise, is in the works. This is nothing new: after all, there were a couple other Dragon Ball video games that never made their way outside the Japanese territory. However, it should be noted that Namco Bandai has already said that this would see European and American releases as well! Here's a teaser trailer (which will show you nothing really relevant. I apologize for being unable to properly embed the clip in this post): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbKdh4pph14 Sources: http://www.grabitmagazine.com/blog/post/dragon-ball-z-dokkan-battle-teased-for-android-and-ios-just-saiyan/ http://www.serkantoto.com/2014/10/07/release-calendar-for-listed-japanese-mobile-game-companies-as-of-oct-7/ EDIT: Also note that, on the second source link I provide, several games based on other popular manga/anime franchises - Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, among others - are mentioned, but since no information was provided regarding potential western releases, I thought it best not to get others' hopes up.
Tried to play for few hours. This is like some color bubbles matching game with some fast flashy attacks. Not my cup of tea. I hate matching games and I hate color bubbles. Y can't this dragon ball game be like One Piece Treasure Cruise? That's is so much fun.
