If you're a match-3 fan, then Heroes of Kalevala (and HD version for the iPad), Sparkle (and HD), Sparkle 2, Azkend (and HD), and Azkend 2, are all must-owns imho!
That's one I don't have, but it seems to be a lot like Swingworm, except now you are attacking enemies as part of the swing experience and by the sound of it the levels are bigger and more platformer than puzzler... where as Swingworm is more puzzler than platformer. I may actually pick Ironworm up along with Trouserheart. I also have an eye on Rope Raider, Sparkle 2, & Boom Brigade. It's weird how a lot of the games I looked at have all their reviews wiped out. I know it's 10 Tons and they have yet to offer a game I didn't find good fun... but, it's always weird when a dev does this.
It's a lot like playing a lego game, but on rails. Lots of bashing stuff, and can get difficult on hardcore, and especially with permadeath. I loved it. Played it through on all the settings. Then again, I don't normally play hack'n'slashers or FPS, so this was a bit of a novelty for me. On the other hand, did I mention that I loved it?!
Fear not! We had to update *all* our games when iOS 7 came out, as Apple changed things so that our existing sound implementation didn't work anymore. As you may now, updating a game archives the reviews of the old version. No conspiracy here.
Picked up Trouserheart. Fun little hack n' slash. Have most of the other 10 tons games. Can't think of any that I own that I wouldn't recommend. Good stuff!
When I opened many of the apps earlier the "All Versions" reviews were showing no reviews. I think it may have been my net connection over 3g or something as they seem to be showing now. Sorry for the confusion. I didn't think there were any shenanigans going on... I mean, it's 10 Tons. Y'all have as good a reputation as any dev/pub can have on the appstore with me. Same for DonutGames and a few others.
Joining Hands is my favorite 10tons game and highly recommended. The Miriel games are good time management games. Probably not for most people here on the forum, but if you have a family member who likes Diner Dash kind of games, they are both really good and highly recommended. I never play these kind of time management games anymore mostly because most of them are boring, but I remember Miriel as one of the good ones.
Got a few 10 Tons games but King Oddball is a definite standout for me, its a nice physics game and enjoyed the addicting play. Really, I just couldn't stop playing once a level was done. Took a break but now into the recent Halloween themed update. Recommended!
They make really good games. I just purchased heroes of Kalevala and the hd version of dragon portals. I have it on my iphone and I love it. If you like match 3 games with a bit of a twist, try dragon portals...
