Hey Guys and Girls! Besides our upcoming game Hell Quest, we started working on a second project: Garden of Fear This one is an atmospheric first-person shocker/horror game. ---------------------------------- Story: You wake up in a labyrinth. You don't know why you're there. You only know that something is awfully wrong! All you have is a flashlight, some charcoal and a compass. ---------------------------------- The labyrinth you're in has 8 doors (2 on each of the outer sides), but only ONE of these doors will let you escape this maze of madness! The other seven will lead you back to the middle the labyrinth. HAHAHAHA!!!! Warning: If you get scared easily, you shouldn't play this game!...or perhaps you should play it all the more! Best played alone, lights out, headphones on! ---------------------------------- We will do a lite version (missing some (terrifying) things) and a premium version (price not yet clear, I guess about $2-3). No IAP.
It looks beautiful! You know it's Smuttlewerk when even the buttons look like they were hand-painted... Yes please! DBC
we try to come up with a video soon! currently we're working on sound effects and music. fear inspiring sfX and music to be precise!
Wow... that came out of nowhere; instabuy here, thanks. $0.99 seems like a steal, you guys should quit under selling yourself.
Is it like Slender, where you can run away? Or can you defend yourself? Also what's the replay value? Is the labyrinth randomly generated?
You can run away and also hide in special places (alcoves). When hiding you should turn off the flashlight and stay calm (don't move). looking around is ok yes, the maze is randomly generated. I'd like to post a video if we had one unfortunately, our attempt to create a video was stopped by an unsatisfying framerate and lack of time.
Is 0.99 only a launch price? Looks awesome but so many other games are coming out this week and the next two months. Gemini Rue, Star Command, War of the Zombie, Heavy Sword, Lumber Jacked, so I'm hoping I have enough to get this game too
I created a thread in games forum for release: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=2770091
