Downloaded a little app called Thunderspace last night. Its just recordings of storms done in 3D stereoscopic but its really pretty cool and the effect through the headphones is pretty stunning. I know there's been a few games released that use 3D sound to good effect (mostly creepy stuff - Papa Sangre comes to mind) so I'm looking for recommendations of good ones...

Stereoscopic means two images going to each of your eyes to create a 3D image. If you are talking about audio, the words you looking for are "binaural" or "positional" or "ambisonic" ..

    Yawn.

    OK those then...

BTW, I'm not talking about games that only use sound without visuals like papa sangre. Any games that use 3d positional audio. I think Year Walk does iirc...

Stereophonic would be the right word ;) but nobody cares...

Back on topic... You might wanna try "Hysteria project".
