Multiplayer is pretty awesome! I have my old extra iPhone 5 that still runs this game, so I just hand it to anyone I want to team up with. I had up to 5 followers the other day; 1 pet, 1 merc, 1 minion by worshipping the knight, the assassin assisted, and player 2 ## This game just keeps improving so I purchased more IAPs as a thank you. I also beat the game for the 2nd time and noticed I got a different color magical stone... Anyone know how many there are or if there is an epilogue?
oats can you tell me which of the iap characters is the best to purchase? i wanna beat the game too, can't get past the 3rd or 4th boss
I beat the game in normal mode 4 times and the color of the gem changes each time. There isn't an epilogue that I know of. I haven't been able to been "badass" mode yet. I've come close but it's brutal. @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);.entry{background-color:white!important}
I played the Knight for the longest time; but I couldn't beat the game. I finally got around to buying all the other characters and beat it with The Assassin, and the Wizard. But I do like to play with The Engineer too. The Assassin has a sweet Dash that damages enemies. The Wizard Stuns her foes so you can mow them down. The Engineer has a sweet Turret that sticks around for a while; best if placed in the center of a room. I also noticed if you worship the Knight statue an extra Merc/fighter will come fourth and assist you every time you use your special ability ## In the new update your fellow heroes will randomly show up and assist you if you have them unlocked. I'm really not a fan of the thief ## who just dodges slowly. I have not used the other Heroes enough or at all to form a good opinion of them.
Did you beat the game with different characters? I might just be wishful thinking, but I like epilogues in games. And since Soul Knight came with a prologue it would only make sense to finish the story
Ive beaten the game on badass mode. Ending is no different than beating normal mode (I.e. there is no story, etc).
Thanks for the thoughts on the characters. I'm new to the game so I was wondering. Does anyone have thoughts on the elf? The manual aim is really tempting.
I've beaten the game 5 times now; it's gotten a lot easier (lolz) and have received 3 different color magical stones. I've gotten the purple and green twice and orange once, but I'm gonna keep playing to see how many different color stones there are and if they do anything. The game devs seem quite but they did post a pic of a gauntlet on there twitter account that does 99 damage!
There are 6 type of statues that you can worship so I keep thinking there might be 6 different colored stones...#
i thought the elf manual aiming meant twin stick gameplay. unfortunately, it only means when you activate your ability (bcome an arrow turret of sorts) only then can you manually aim your super shot.
Yep. The elf's cost is 12,000 and, personally, I don't think it's worth it. When using the elf, I don't see a noticeable increase in shooting speed or taking hits given that the trade off is that you're locked into a shooting position until you tap the special button (lightning). Maybe someone else can chime in on the benefits of the elf, but I don't see it since you'd become a sitting duck.@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);.entry{background-color:white!important}
The ELF's last upgrade are vines that block incoming shots while he uses his special bow. But I too really don't like being locked into position #
this game is freaking awesome! i do hope some day the dual stick controls will happen but the autoaim controls work really really well so whatever... great game though
I was about to give up on this stone theory, but today I got a blue one!! This is the 4th different colored stone I have received. Not sure I know how I'm doing it; I think it has to do with which statue you worship(?) Has anyone received any other colored stone? I have blue, green, orange, purple. Thinking there may be a red and white #
@JCho133 I have not found anymore stones, but I believe the game should be receiving new levels soon. Perhaps more stones and an epilogue(?) Every time i tweet the game devs they respond; except when I ask about my stone theory
